Good morning Bahrain, this is Newzak. We bring you local news every morning at 7AM.

Gulf Air Resumes
Bahrain's airspace is still closed, but Gulf Air has found a way around it, flights are now routing through Saudi Arabia. If you need a transit visa for the stopover, assistance is available. Travel is slower, but it's moving.

Rugby Champs
Bahrain's rugby team just went unbeaten 12 games. 12 wins. Bahrain has been crowned champions of the 2025-26 Men's West Asia Premiership, and yes, we have a rugby team. Congrats boys!

Gifting Spirit
The Royal Foundation for Humanitarian Works delivered Eid gifts to orphans across Bahrain this week. A good reminder that the best part of Eid isn't the 5 days off.

Shopping Bonanza
Bahrain's shopping centres are full ahead of Eid: clothes, shoes, sweets, perfumes and gifts flying off the shelves. If you've been putting off your Eid shopping, today's the day. Tomorrow might be too late.

Try an Ice Cream
Scoop Creamery has been popping up on my feed lately, and from the looks of it, rightfully so. If you haven't tried it yet, consider this your sign. Drop a comment if you have, the camel wants to know.

Factak: Bahrain is has the worlds largest underwater theme park, featuring a Boeing 747.

The camel wishes you a good morning!
